Earlier this year, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) announced that “Better Speech and Hearing Month” will now be known as “National Speech-Language-Hearing Month!” Each May, we recognize the work done by our Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists, partnering closely with our ENT specialists, to help people improve their communication skills. The Speech Language Pathologist teams at West Suburban (Erum Nazir and Emma Bufe) and Weiss (Maddie Catania and Andrea Penicook) work in our acute care units, ICU, ER, outpatient therapy clinic, subacute rehab unit, inpatient rehab unit, and the geriatric psychology unit, while Dr. Evan Greenbaum provides ENT services at the CHMG Clinic at Weiss on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
