West Suburban CMO Dr. Carolyn Fitzpatrick presented “A Woman’s Heart: A Discussion of Heart Disease and Prevention,” at the Oak Park River Forest’s Chamber of Commerce Women in Business event Friday, Feb. 10.
“February is designated as American Heart Month. The objective of the presentation was to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women, which is the leading cause of death,” shared Dr. Fitzpatrick. She discussed how the signs of heart disease may be different in women and shared what women can do to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy.
The event was a great way for West Suburban to make connections with local businesses that share the same goal of serving our community.
