West Suburban recently hosted “Embracing Change: Navigating Menopause Together,” a community event for women, featuring Dr. Sonya Ephraim and our very own Drs. Carolyn Fitzpatrick and Nichole Butler. Dr. Ephraim led an interactive presentation about the signs and symptoms of menopause and the impact on our health, relationships, and careers. She also discussed hormonal and non-hormonal management of symptoms. Dr. Ephraim is double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. A panel of experts including Dr. Ephraim, Dr. Fitzpatrick, and Dr. Butler held a “Real Talk” discussion where participants could get answers to their questions.
